Design Victoria together with Australian Graphic Design Association present the Business Ready seminar: Managing the Talent in your Organisation.
The Business Ready seminar series aim to build the competitiveness of Victoria’s design sector through greater engagement with industry and enhancing their ability to compete locally and internationally.
Seminar overview
Today’s competitive job market requires companies to look at new strategies to attract and retain top performers. These ‘top performers’ have the power to propel a business forward, committing their time and energy into the company’s success.
As a result, companies now need to understand the importance of ‘critical talent’ and the strategies they can implement to engage their top performers. This is especially important for emerging businesses that may not be able to pay the salaries their staff could command elsewhere, but whose business success is entwined with the quality of the small number of staff members they have.
Drawing on the experience of the Deloitte owned web and graphic design company – Eclipse – this seminar will provide cutting edge theory, grounded in practical design business experience.
