Open Space — Shaping the design agenda

Overview

Design Victoria is calling design industry leaders and professionals to come together for their Open Space event to discuss what skills and programs are needed to propel the Victorian design industry into the global spotlight.

Open Space – shaping the design agenda is a chance to discuss the issues and challenges facing the design industry and how this can be addressed through training and support. The discussions will guide the development of Design Victoria’s program of events to grow business, improve competitiveness and assist in the identification of new markets.

Discussions will be held in groups lead by facilitator Sarah Beaumont of Pronoia. Participants are encouraged to move between groups to share ideas, make recommendations and pose questions about the future to ensure the needs of the Victorian design industry are met through Design Victoria’s programs.
