Design Victoria and the Australian Institute of Export, Australian Leaders in Export Series (ALIES), Industry Capability Network and AusMedtech Victoria invite you to attend a special event to help small to medium enterprises prepare their business for entering overseas markets.

Seminar overview

Never before has the global nature of business been so apparent than in the past 12 months, with every enterprise large and small, planning for the new world economy. Will your business be ready to survive and prosper?

Highlighting the link between good design and success in international markets, this seminar will feature keynote addresses from successful global players, with case studies and a panel of experts who will share their experiences in surviving the new global jungle.

Speakers

Through good design and intensive research and development, Securency is now the recognised world leader in secure polymer substrate technology used for the printing of banknotes and other security documents which are exported all over the world. Ron Marchant — Director, Business Development, will outline how the company achieved success in 26 countries including some of the most underdeveloped countries in the world. He will underline the importance of proper preparation for successful entry into overseas markets as well as some of the “dos and don’ts” for new exporters.

NeoProducts Group is an international, award winning leader in the design, production and implementation of touch screen kiosks and interactive public-access systems. The company has had great success in the UK where it has set up a manufacturing facility and subsequently has expanded into Central Europe and Asian markets. Lindsay Frost International Sales Director, will discuss how the company approached the global market and how design was an essential part of the company’s global success.
