Based in Sydney, John is the central point for providing advice on the creative industries to Austrade staff, as well as advising on policy and strategy formulation for arts export programs.
In addition to providing specialist advice to businesses who wish to export, John coordinates a network of 24 export advisers and business development managers in Australia and in 14 overseas markets. This network provides advice and assistance to exporters in the creative industries when they are beginning their export journey, and also once they are in the market.
