Since Graduating from Industrial Design with 1st Class honours in 2000 Kate has worked for the promotion of ideas based design in Australia. Forming Moth Design in 2001 she has continued to round up designers and encourage them to collaborate/argue/inspire and lead.

Since 2001, Moth Design has worked across industrial, interior, product retail and event, infusing critical thinking, sustainable practice and energy into all of their projects.

Moth Design works closely with their manufacturers and builders to come up with the best solutions for their clients. They work collectively with other creatives on both commercial projects and public installations.

Moth Designs clients include National Design Centre, Brand Collective, Metallicus, Life in Style Trade Show, Artshouse, Dhini, Arc Retail Vision, Red Bull, Niche Media – IDEA awards, Paul Mathis, Creative Entertainment (Big Day Out), National Institute of Design – Swinburne University, Myer (Miss Shop, Mens and Womens wear) and Arena Theatre.
