Professor Lyndon Anderson - Profile

Professor Lyndon Anderson is the Deputy Dean of Swinburne, Faculty of Design. Lyndon has been a strong advocate for design industry in Victoria and is a contributor to many design-related steering committees. Lyndon’s research area investigated the role of traditional design strategies employed within the new product development process. Lyndon is a practitioner of design and has exhibited in Milan, London, New York, Amsterdam, Cologne, Dublin, Sydney and Melbourne. Lyndon is a member of the Design Institute of Australia (MDIA).

Lyndon is managing research within the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) for Wood Innovation and supervises several PhD candidates related to the CRC, further areas of research include: Design for an ageing population (Transgenerational Design), Sustainability, New Material and Production Technologies and works collaboratively linking nano-technologies to the creative design process. Lyndon has been successful in gaining tenders to provide a review of design education within school environments.
