Early career covered community development work, then industrial relations and OH&S in union movement and 11 years with State Government working on OH&S standards development.
For last 11 years has been with the Schiavello Group as the Environmental Manager, initially achieving ISO 14001 EMS certification for Australia-wide operations of around 1,000 personnel. More recently the work has focused on using Life Cycle Analysis and working with suppliers and researchers on the R&D of improved performance materials, and the involvement in at least $100m worth of fitout projects targeting Green Star credits, including the Schiavello Group Corporate headquarters completed in 2005.
