Professor Peter Sheldrake
Director Business Relationships, RMIT Graduate School of Business
Peter Sheldrake joined RMIT Business in 1997 and is Professor of Business Entrepreneurship and Director of Business Relationships in the Graduate School of Business.
He is a Director of Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Royal Agricultural Society, Red Stitch Theatre Company and Chairman of Radio 3MBS. Peter began his working career as an academic, teaching at the Universities of Cambridge and Edinburgh and at the Flinders University of South Australia.
He then left the academic world, and for nineteen years worked in the private, government and not-for-profit sectors. He was a chief executive for twelve years, the last nine of those at the Australian Institute of Management.
He has written various books and articles and is a regular speaker conducting workshops and programs on strategic leadership, innovation and global business issues. He has a long-term involvement with the arts, as a board member and source of advice on management and leadership issues.
