Warwick Brown - Profile

Warwick Brown
Design Director
CobaltNiche Design

Warwick Brown has almost 2 decades experience in product design including a strong background in manufacturing.

Graduating from RMIT in 1987 he worked as an in-house designer and production coordinator in the architectural furniture groups, Transitional Modern and Radii, before taking up a design and development role at Camatic seating for nine years from 1992.

Warwick’s achievements during this time included the design of seats for Sydney and Atlanta Olympic stadiums – of which almost a million units have been produced in the last decade.

In 2001 Warwick joined CobaltNiche, and with fellow directors Steve Martinuzzo and Jack Magree, has seen the group grow to become one of Australia’s leading development consultancies. His portfolio includes ranges from medical devices and automotive safety accessories to children’s scooters and adventure equipment.

Warwick’s passion for fusing design with the realities of production is a key element in CobaltNiche’s ability to deliver product design from concept to production.
