Why design?
Look around you – and whether you know it or not – design is everywhere. It’s like the Force in Star Wars, but a hundred times more sexy. Imagine a world without design and it’s pretty horrific. Text would wander aimlessly through a field of images on every printed or electronic page. Nearly all products would be ugly, functionless and bland. Buildings would be fragile shacks at best. Almost everything we have encountered since we humans first left the trees incorporates design through its many disciplines and applications – it’s as fundamental as life itself.
