Why Design?
Design is showing what is possible in helping invent a sustainable future that is equitable, accessible and culturally relevant. It is a cornerstone in the process of delivering quality of life and meaning.
Informed designers demonstrate how the world can be a better place, and how it might be realised in practical terms. It is the key to locking-in benign qualities such product longevity, while simultaneously locking-out, negative product attributes such as toxics and carbon intensive materials.
To design is to be curious and human. To be a designer – in the broadest sense – is to be a catalyst for positive change.
