Why design?
In case you haven’t noticed, there is a sustainability revolution going on and designers are in the box seat to lead this revolution. It's not often that you actually feel the turning point, but sustainable business practices are at that point. A new economy is evolving and it needs products and services that have been designed to eliminate environmental impacts. Design is about connecting the emotional to the practical, and designers have the ability to connect the emotional underpinnings of sustainability to products or businesses.
